Research Use Policy

Purpose

Vera Laboratories sells research compounds exclusively for in-vitro laboratory and research purposes. This policy explains the terms under which our products may be purchased and used, and applies to every order placed through this site.

Not for human or veterinary use

Our products are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or food, and are not approved by the FDA or any equivalent regulatory body for human or animal use. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition, and must never be consumed, injected into, or otherwise administered to a human or animal.

No medical claims

Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice. Product descriptions summarize published research on a given compound and are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They are not a recommendation or endorsement of any particular use.

Buyer certification

By placing an order, you certify that:

• You are at least 21 years of age;
• You are purchasing this product solely for legitimate laboratory research, and not for personal use, human or animal consumption, or resale as anything other than a research chemical;
• You have the appropriate training, experience, and equipment to handle research chemicals safely; and
• You are solely responsible for ensuring your purchase, possession, and use of the product complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Handling and safety

Research compounds should be handled only by trained personnel using appropriate laboratory safety equipment, in accordance with standard laboratory practice. See our storage & handling and reconstitution guide pages for general technical information.

Misuse and liability

Vera Laboratories is not responsible for any use of our products that violates this policy, including human or animal consumption. Any such use is undertaken entirely at the purchaser's own risk and outside the scope of the purpose for which these products are sold.
